IMO, the bad thing about the cancellation of all these sitcoms is that now, there's more room for even more "reality shows."

Gawd knows, America is just dying for more "Bachelor Millionaire meets Crackwhore" types of shows. <sigh>

I'm super happy Monk is back on, love that show! I didn't like it at first, but it really grew on me.

I've also gotten into Warehouse 13, although it's still rough around the edges. It's no X-Files, but it's pretty fun for being on a channel called "SyFy" :p

Some of the shows I'm looking forward to and their start dates (from wikipedia). If you've heard any different, post here and let me know.

Castle - Sept. 21
30 Rock - Oct. 15
Dollhouse - Sept. 25
Fringe - Sept. 17
Legend of the Seeker - Nov. 7
Parks & Recreation - Sept. 17
The Office - Sept. 17
Big Bang Theory - Sept. 24

There's nothing on your list of which I've ever (voluntarily) watched a full episode.
(my wife likes Castle...so sometimes, I'll watch part of it with her...then disappear and nef on ATOT)

As for "Earl," THANK GAWD it's finally over. One of the stupidest shows I've ever seen. IMO, even worse than "The Office." (which I can not stand.)

As the years go by, TV gets worse and worse...Bruce Springsteen only scratched the surface of satellite television with "57 Channels and Nothing On."

false, tv now is better than ever.

this thread was about TV shows and when they are coming back on, I don't give a shot whether you like a particular show or not and I don't give a shit if you think TV sucks these days. stay on topic please!

Parks and Recreation -- I just can't get into it. The first few shows were almost identical to The Office, but not as good. It made watching the show awkward.

I hated it at first but I think it kind of grew on me.

Like a boil?

YES! one of my favorite shows at the moment.

the only problem is the first episode is the same night as the Steelers first game. Looks like SOA is going to be DVR'd to watch the next day.

TV is now filled with stupid crap. Like American Idol, Dancing with the Stars and other reality tv stuff. those two take up a combined 6 hours of tv time in a week. America or atleast those with the nielson boxes need to turn that crap off.

Now?!

TV has been filled with reality SHIT going on years now. The sheeple will continue to watch this steaming pile of dog shit for years to come.

I used to watch reality shows (when they were still a relatively new concept), but it's going overboard.

Survivor 32, Big Brother 18, American Idol 14 (I exaggerate, but you know it'll be the truth).

They cancelled Reno 911!

FUCK. COMEDY. CENTRAL.

:|

I'm kinda glad they did. The first three seasons or so were comedy gold. But their later seasons left a lot to be desired

Sweet Fringe is the only one I'm really looking forward to but I'll certainly DVR and watch Dollhouse and Big Bang Theory at some point.

How the fuck can you watch Legend of the Seeker?
