Too optimistic at the first boardroom when asked how he thought he did. Makes it hard to turn around later and say "So and so didn't do $#^%" when you are all confidence before you know the results. A bit of caution is advised, even if one's team was perfect, the other team might be perfect as well, and get lucky (and thus beat you). You always want to set up some defense as early as possible. That's not to say you're pessimistic about your chances of wining, but you better not be dead certain.

Brought too many people back to the boardroom. Obviously his only "savior" was the nontelemarketing woman, so he should only have brought her back. Nobody has been fired for bringing too few people back, as long as they brought back people that deserved it. Tarek had no solid reasons for bringing Lenny and Lee, other than a mere odds play. And an odds play (where one brings in plenty of innocent bodies hoping one of them catches the bullet) is an insult to the Trumpster. People have been fired for bringing in others that did not deserve it.

Finally, the first mistake Tarek made was to not watch the earlier seasons. If he had, he'd have known better than to make these mistakes.

yeah he should have only brought the girl in

their was no reason to bring the russian or the other guy in

43-40 in this is a crapshoot but the other team was better organized and had a better promotion, with a lesser sales team the margin would have been larger

still tarek probably would have stole it if the girl had made 20 calls

in general if a team loses, i think the PM is the most at fault.

in this particular show, you can't let the one girl get away with not doing what she was asked to do.

if she had made 200 calls instead of the 1 (or was it 3) that she made, it could easily have been the difference of 3 more memberships.

also, her BS about it wasn't a good time to be calling a restaraunt is just plain stupid. i've done lots of telephone sales and there is NEVER a good time to be calling, if you wait for a "good" time to call, you never will.

also, if the client you are calling has an interest in your product or in your presentation, they will listen no matter how busy they are.

she deserved to get fired.

though restaurants have peak hours where they make almost all their sales, calling from 3-5 would have been far better

What was the deal with that, anyway? Why just call the restaraunts? Why not all the small biz? And who thought cold-calling them, begging them to come to Sam's was a useful thing?

Not saying she shouldn't have been canned, I knew she was history when she interrupted Trump. Just not sure what folks hoped to achieve with those calls.

she volunteered to call the restaurants because that's her background, apparently she owns a successful restaurant.

Yeah, I got that part. Why didn't she call other places to try to get folks to come down? Or were they planning to do some sort of event thing where restaraunts brought in samples of their menu? It's curious that they only wanted to call restaraunts.

My name is Bob. And I'm the project manager for Team Hobo. I gave up a million dollar business and 6 figure job offer to work for you Mr. Trump. I shall sweep floor and stand around the street selling useless products to attract customers.

Andrea is really getting on my nerves, I was hoping she would be fired too... why is she competing to be Trump's apprentice when she's a multi-millionnaire?
