New Season of Battlestar Galactica delayed until April

BSG is one of those shows where it looks like someone had a great thing going until some higher ups decided to mess with it. They should have just made 3 20 episode seasons, told the story, and been done with it. If their market research deemed necessary, then they could have done the Caprica spinoff at a later time. I can deal with a few of those "boxing" episodes here and there to add a little character, but ratings are driven by plots.

The same thing happened to LOST. You have the same whiny people doing the same whiny things, nothing happens, there's no progression, and it seems like the story is stuck in a quagmire.

Some people say this, but my wife and I hated B5... I sat through it all though.. some terrible acting...

Yeah, I admit that S1 was bad and the first half of S5 was quite mediocre, but the S5 problem wasn't their fault. That's why I said "as a series." Also, they did the show with half the budget of DS9.

Yeah, the acting was very bad at the start of S1 but got better steadily. I always liked the quips between Molari and G'Kar. I don't remember much of S5 but I am getting there as I again make my way through the series (currently in the middle of S3)

I actually don't remember much of S1; I haven't seen it in years; but that's just what I remember.
