I don't remember GTA 4 looking as nice as those screens... what kind of mods you all running?

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat + AtmosFEAR mod

The last pic here is just awesome. The STALKER series is an incredible experience. (It's actually pitch-dark in this scene. I happened to catch a lightning strike with my screenshot)

For my GTA IV playthru I am using these.
1. Better City Textures.....7.5GB and well worth it
2. Enb Series that enables FXAA
3. Some cars that I just picked out...not a car pack or anything like that.

The only thing with the enb series is that it can be way to bright indoors....you can tweak the config, but I never really got happy with it, but it is alittle better.

I am using a hard copy of the game, not a steam version...and I only patched the game to 1.04.....More mod compatibility with this patch and also the most mods were made for this patch.

The Better City Textures is a must and is just great work.

After that just find an enb that works for you, there are lots of them out there.

I am nearing completion of the game and it has been a great ride.

I was not sure about this game when I bought it, but I must say...overall I really enjoyed cruising Liberty City & listening to Liberty Rock Radio!

Looking forward to Episodes from Liberty City!

Yes, please, if you're going to post screenshots, add the name of the game somewhere (title or in post). Saves a lot of headaches trying to figure out what game it is sometimes.

How is the performance? Back when I played, a couple of years ago, the fps was abysmal. I can't imagine adding 7gb of textures does anything to help this...

I have the game maxed out and the more vram you have the better.

Playing at 1920x1080

Frames vary from where you are on the huge map, what time of day it is ect......I have seen 29 FPS and I have Seen 69 FPS....I know....big difference, just the nature of the beast with this game.

Overall, it has been a fantastic experience and the first GTA game, that I have ever played.

In motion the games looks absolutely stunning driving around Liberty City...also it can be a tad bright indoors using Enb series and the cars are hit and miss on the shine of the cars and can also be alittle overdone.

But the trade off for the outdoor enviorements is pretty nice, IMO.
