Funny that you mention it. I'm a big AA proponent but I didn't enable it in SC2 because having slowdowns would affect my multiplayer performance. I never thought it looked bad, nor do I miss it now that I have a card that should handle AA ok.
 
Funky colored water ? Are you saying it looks funky ? Or it looks normal and yours looks funky and can't find a fix ?

I have been searching for a way to change the resolution from 4:3 to 16:10. And a little higher res. Still on the search though.

I'm pretty sure it goes beyond 1280. IIRC, I played the game before and it went all the way to like 1920x1200. I saw way too much though. I was like, "fuck, I can see the whole fucking map practically!"

Maybe I am wrong and only saw 1280x1024?
 
Ugh, talking about AoE, i wish there was a way to shrink the UI in AoE3: AD.

It just takes up too much of the screen, even @ 1080p.
 
If the resolution can be changed, please let me know how. I have been trying to find a way for almost 5 months now with no luck.

is that fraps telling you you're getting over 9000 fps?
 
I would, but I cant seem to find all the mods I need for Fallout New Vegas. Apparently there are a number of model and texture mods to make all the people look much better. The chicks are curvier and prettier, the men are manlier, etc.
Also plenty of clothing mods and in addition to improving in game outfits, you can add whole new wardrobes.
BUT, the newvegas Nexus doesnt have any guides as to what groups of mods you will need. I see loads of screen shots with awesome models and clothing, but people dont normally say what they used.
And theres literally about a thousand model mods so its been kinda daunting going through and figuring out which I like the most.
