New Scam ??

Below was sent to one of my junk e-mail boxes.

Should I spend some amusment time with this?

If so, how to proceeed?

I could first of all locate the items and generate a price. I suspect that the Visa number would be fraudulent, but could try to get a switch to funds being wired and/or paypal.

All advise should be considered tax deductible.

Ask them to send you a money order for $350. Haggle until they send you something. spend money on beer.

Scam the scammer.

Your store isn't set up to take credit cards. You can only take cash. But, if he'll send you $50, you can get the xxxxx company to set your store up with the equipment to do so. That way, the stores accountant won't know about it. AND, it's a religious book store, so any expenditures on things like the credit card machine must be approved by a board of church members, and they are opposed to credit, so, without cash, there's no way to proceed with this sale.... Promise to deduct $100 from the price of the books if he sends the $50.

Do not reply to scams. They will know for sure that your email address is valid, you will at the least get more spam.

don't worry about it! Just create another email addy! They don't even know who they sent it to anyways. Anybody needs a gmail, pm me!

Do what pizza said! Sounds like a good idea to me. Maybe $50 is too high, pretend that you're reluctantly willing to bring it down to $30 or something.
