new sata hdd not detected in my computer

just got a new sata hdd and its not showing up in "my computer." what do i need to do?

speedfan detects it and i can read the temperature and SMART information and all.
 
solved, it WAS located in Disk Management, but it had no volume, so i had to scroll down and see that it was unallocated and format/populate it.
