new sandra2002 - interesting memory benchmarks

hi,

according to the new sandra 2002 (san589.zip)...i get interesting memory benchmarks results with my soyo dragon + (running XP1800 at 11.5 * 145), DDR2100 crucial, fully maxed out in the bios settings. (Yes...it's stable according to prime95 🙂

According to sandra i am faster than RD600 ram, faster than any nforce board...only beaten by RD800 ram. (I think it was like in the 2400MBs/sec as far as i remember when i run the bench yesterday). That's quite impressing assuming this figures are right, anyway he does like MMX/3DNow/SSE streaming tests...so i dont know how valid this figures are compared to real life performance.

btw yesterday the sandra2002 was only downloadable from one mirror (i think it was simtel), the other mirrors all still had the old san811.zip

greetings

bump, coz it's worth it 🙂

Ok...i re-installed an older (2ba1) bios which again improved my memory performance. (Soyo Dragon +). The 2ba2 bios has some issues with DRAM settings, it's unstable (crashes with Sandra 2002 memtest and it's slower)

The results are very interesting....according to the comparison charts RDRAM800 (the fastest in the list) is like 2400MB/sec. I get about 2250MB/sec with DDR Ram at 145FSB ! (~ almost RDRAM800 speed)..and i beat any other compared system. Eg. the reference values for a KT266A chipset running cas2 (probably at stock 133FSB) is about 1900MB/sec....
