Searched and didn't find so here goes.

Just received an email from DDD and they have a list of over 900 titlesal for buy 2 get 1 free. Most titles seem to be 9.42 so you can get three for 18.84 shipped. Not quite as good as the Buy two get one free in October which was three for 17.94.

Updated 3-2-06. New 3 for 2 offer. Price is 18.84 for 3 DVDs shipped.

I've dealt with DDD before, so I know they're legit, but is anyone else getting a certificate mismatch error when they access the site?
 
Check out Superbit titles. They look vastly different on my HTPC or upscaling DVD player. You MUST have an HDTV though for it to be any better.

I just did a search on all three pages (i.e. all 250 eligible DVD's in this offer) on "superbit" and didn't come up with anything. I do have an upscaling DVD player and a 720p projector, but currently no superbit DVD's.

Yes, it's becuase they registered the security certificate to a subdomain of theirs (secure.deepdiscountdvd.com) instead of www.deepdiscountdvd.com and probably linked to an item on the secure section in the nonsecure area.

I'm not sure why you wouldn't want the special edition of "Being John Malkovitch." Also, I wouldn't go for the standard edition of "Blood Simple" because there is a director's cut out for only a few dollars more.

Oh, thanks. I thought that SE meant standard edition, thinking it meant FS, silly. I'll get it.

Is the director's cut of Blood Simple decidedly a better buy? I haven't seen the movie. DDDVD doesn't have it, apparently, nor Columbia House.
