New Rims on my "chick car"

I've read the thread about chick cars...which I disagreed on the Eclipse being a "chick" car. It really depends on the individual Eclipse. Here's my 1998 Eclipse with new "feet"...well not brand new I bought them used (cheap) and I think they look great.

swank. I think the 2g's are the best looking eclipses that they made, and I think the 3rd gen's were the overal chick cars. The 1g and 2g were more performance oriented, at least in the gs-t and gsx trims, now they have the bulky v6 and no awd... =(

If you haven't done performance mods, do them. The eclipses respond very well with simple bolt ons.

nah...the stock ones were pretty nasty though...I found this set on craigslist and the price was right and they fit so I bought them...

Mods so far are intake and exhaust...that's about it...for now. I'm going to be working on the sound system next since I'm not really into speed. Some JL Audio subs and a mp3 player on the way in the next few weeks.

I'm happy with the car 🙂
 
sorry, i don't like the rims, but you do so congrats on the purchase...i never liked chrome "bling bling" rims...now those black/charcoal "jdm style" rims, those are hot.

yeah...those black/charcoal look nice too...not my style..but on some cars they look sweet.

These aren't crome though...on the pics they look crome..but they're really like a nice silver color...they are also hyperblack...

price was too good to not buy em 🙂 BTW...did I say I'm a cheap mofo!
 
haha yeah i know what you mean, i'm pretty cheap too i guess..i was thinking about doing some work on my car, but i figure i'll just use that money to buy a second "fun" car 😀

if only i could find a low mileage, stock, 96-98 240sx se 🙁
