Its a sweet little device. To be honest, apart from tweakability and custom Palm software, I don't know why anybody would prefer a Treo over this.

Wow, it looks like Blackberry overdid itself this time. So tempting to get this phone vs the motoral A1200 I have right now. I wonder how much it will cost :(

I have one in my hand right now. It's a great device. You have to see it/use it to believe it.

I currently have a 7130g and the trackball is much quicker/easier. Plus it glows, like a Pearl. It's so cool!

I've not seen or used the SK3 so I cannot say. The Pearl TB is really smooth to roll and you just click it where you would have clicked the scroll wheel. It's sesitivity is adjustable too so you can set it up how you want it.

I have the 8700c. I specifically went with this model because it had the qwerty keyboard.

I don't know why you guys dislike suretype. I had a few BBs at work and always preferred the SureType ones.

Crystal. My 7130g owns my old Samsung D500 too, so for me it's nothing to be worried about.

Posted this from my BB!

Cool. On CNET's review they said the sound quality was poor and i saw that on one of the other reviews i read today. I thought (because they'd already had them for two-three weeks) that maybe they had preproduction models.

They had them a day before launch for review. IDK, some people love Treo's Nokia's etc and it show's in the subsequent reviews.
