I know you guys don't like these threads but please comment on my parts list for my new computer. Please make any recommendations that come to mind. The PC is mainly for gaming, but I need it under $850 (it stands at around $825 now) Thank you

Overall it looks pretty good, but you might want to consider getting a different power supply. You should buy a 24 pin ps instead of the 20 pin thermaltake.

i would invest in a better power supply. i dont know about the maxtor drive ive read lots are having problems with them but its your call. cooler master psu's are not on the power supply lists that ive seen with nforce 4 boards.

nows a bad time to ask as theres practically a flame war going on about these threads.
anyway,

i don't like the case because i like antecs much more, but thats just me.

for the psu, you micht want to go withe the fortron blue strom 500.

maxtors are dying out like hell right now, i would really advise a seagate.

just my 2cents

whoops sorry, i was thinking about teh dfi mobo.

you don't have to get the fortron if you are going withe the epox.

for that, you can get a cheaper antec truepower 480(not the 2.0 version)

and yes, cooler master usually dosent make too great of psus.

check out this for more help spcr

yes, but if i were you, i would definatly not get that coolermaster and get an antec or something better quality.

i thought this fourm emphasised psu's alot already.

oh yeah, i just remembered that there were some nice quality and cheap superflower psus at directron.
