started the ball off today and bought a new case and the MSI K8N neo (the one with the nf3 250gb chipset)
MOBO = £82
ANTEC P160 = £81
the rest of the rig looks like this, ( i am buying as i get paid) u might say wait and buy all at once then only need one shipping but im buying from lots of diff sites so
AMD athlon64 3000+ maybe if the price comes down abit or i can stretch to it ill get a newcastle 3200
1Gb Geil 3200 value ram
samsung spinpoint sata 150 HDD 80Gb 8mb cache
audigy 2
then comes GFX
im torn between NV 6800 and 6800GT, and the Ati x800pro
the x800pro appears mroe readily available n slighty (only slighty) cheaper than the 6800GT
the 6800NU is roughy £100 less than both the others
il be mainly playin D3, HL2 (when they arrive) and UT2004,
my monitor will only do 1024x768 reliably 12x10 at 60hz is horrible to my eyes
x800pro looks good in shader and AA an AF environments, thr 6800 is cheaper and whoops d3 better .
