New rig for Photoshop & video

I'm ready to put together a new system the P4 2.8 seems slow working in Photoshop. I'd like a machine that will last a couple of years at least. Here's what I'll need:

Mortherboard - use an Asus now
Processer - AMD or Intel whichever will run the best
RAM - 2GB min
Video card with dual DVI
Case
Couple of HDs

I'd like some options I haven't followed hardware really since I built the P4.

Thanks,

Well since no one has jumped in, here's some of the components I'll thinking about.
Lian Li PC-V1200Bplus II Black
SeaSonic S12-500 ATX12V 500W
Western Digital Raptor WD740GD 74GB
Seagate Barracuda 7200.10, 320GB

Maybe a AMD Opteron 170 or a Pentium D 950 Presler but what MB and Ram for each??
Still not sure about video card just that I want dual DVI

Other recommendations in the thread look good so far... For a video card, you do not need anything really high-end for Photoshop and video editing, since neither make use of 3D acceleration. A fairly inexpensive dual-DVI card like this Leadtek Geforce 7600GS would work fine; there are also a few Radeon X1300's with dual DVI for even less, depending on what your budget is.
