I get 3.74 for testing purposes, run 3.5 24/7 DC with no probs on my e6750. I do agree, however, that it is a short-term solution. I was concerned about Q6600 thermals and, frankly, in a hurry to upgrade so I got e6750 with plans for future penryn quad core.
