New riddle.

Howard

Lifer
A king has no heirs. Wants to pick a successor. Three wise men are invited. King paints a dot on their foreheads and tells them to find out the color which they have been painted with. Color is either red or green, no communication allowed.

He painted all dots green. It look a long while, but finally a man raised a hand and said, "Your majesty, I have a green dot."

How did he know?

Well, is that the correct answer?
If not, could the wise dude ask another wise dude to tell him what color it was?

After banging his forehead against the wall in frustration, he noticed a green spot on the wall.

LOL

Or...as the tension mounted beads of green sweat began to run down into his eyes.

the wiseman was red/green colorblind, so whatever he said would have been truely correct for the wiseman... so, he said the one which made the most sense to him

The king not changing brushes seems like the most plausible answer, but I have no idea. What is the solution?

"he see that the other two have the same color and assumes he does too, and at that point he knows that it a matter of who says it first... considering that the king wanted a random choice"

that was thought up by my canadian friend...

i think you are missing a line from it...

when they unblindfolded the king asks, if you see a green mark, raise your hand...all three raise their hand

I remember something like the king says 2 might have 1 color, while the third has a different color to fool them. I think he forgot a crucial detail
