Plus it doesn't have the drum intro, or any sound intro whatsoever that jumps out at you right off the bat. Plus it isn't a song that people know.

Everyone knows the new rick roll is that friday song forwarded to the annoying friday part. Or even the part where the stupid bitch can't find out which seat to take.
 
Disappointing a lifer posts this shit. Part of the reason the Rick Roll worked is... secretly, everyone actually liked that song. You would get Rick Rolled and then you'd keep watching. This... oh jesus christ. This just sucks

Exactly. I'm proud to say that every single time I listen to the entire song when I get Rick Rolled.

This...well...it's just shit. I feel like I got Shit Rolled and now I'm angry about it.

Me too. If it was possible, I could see that becoming the next rick roll.

I don't think it will though. Nothing will be as funny as when it was first happening and people didn't expect it, nothing will bring that back. It was real, it was fun, but it's over.
 
Anything that takes 30 seconds to start can't serve the same purpose. Rick Rollig worked because you heard it before you realizes what was happening.
