NEW RAM

I just got 2x512 corsair value ddr400 pc3200. I already had 2x256 ats 333. I know that the corsair won't perform at 400... but shouldn't I still be able to tell a significant difference?

Still running dual channel.

If this is for an AMD64 system they have an on die memory controller. So the divider doesnt play that big of a factor.
If you needed the room then you would "feel" a difference.

My corsair VS kit ran fine at 400...

I was just wondering if still having that other 333 in there would hurt the 400 that much to where it would better just to take the 2x256 out?

I have a 2.66 p4

Take them out and see.
We can't do it in our imagination ;p
I know I can't, but thats because I don't have an imagination.
