Went into check my core/memory frequencies. Here are

500mhz core

594 memory

Is this the 2d settings for my 3d settings? According to sapphiretech this is what it should be

Core clock 625MHz
PixelPipelines 16(48 Pixel shader processor )
Memory
Memory Clock 1800MHz

Do I need to set the memory to 900 so it reached 1800, and the core to 625 myself?

The current clocks are your 2D clocks. When you fire up a game, or any app that requires it, Catalyst will ramp up the clock speeds.

Ok that's what I figured just thought I'd ask. I really like the catalyst drivers. Don't know what a lot of peoples problems with it are. Really simple install with Vista 64bit

yea, they're pretty good, never had any problems with them at all.

and yea, thats a good idea by ati bc it lowers the voltage/clock speeds, therefore decreasing temps and increasing hardware lifetime

The reason most people don't like the Cats isn't because they aren't simple, but because with XP they require .Net to run, which causes the interface to run relatively sluggish and utilize way too much memory just to adjust a few video settings. Personally, I usually just install the drivers without the Catalyst Control Center and use ATI Tray Tools to adjust the settings.
