New Radeon Drivers Posted(6058) : What do you think?

Also, new 9026s for Win9x/ME users. I installed them tonight and have yet to experience any problems. Gained 200 pts in 3dmark2k2se (for what that's worth). Also gained 8-10 FPS in Nascar2k2 and a noticeable improvement in smoothness (I've had better frame numbers but somewhat "pagey" looking graphics in the past). I haven't tried the AA yet. Oh yea...running N2k2 at 1600x1200x16 no AA, no Anistropic.

My desktop is noticeably more vibrant than with the official 9009s I was using. So far, so good...best drivers yet for my purposes.

Havent tried em yet. After the 6052s Im kinda iffy about beta drivers. I think Im gonna stick to official drivers.

Any thoughts on the newly released 6043 officials?

Since when did they release 3DMark2002SE? They are still working on 3DMark2002 :Q

He means 3DMark2001SE 😉.

have yet to encounter problems with em
...but then again have yet to do anything other than play chess and surf the web... 😛

Yes, obviously I meant 2k1 not 2k2. I've typed Nascar2k2 so many times lately typing 2k2 has become habit.

I don't have any problems with the driver per se but I felt the red software's latest plutonium driver was a little more smooth with certain games (I havent' gone back to the plutonium driver though...still waiting for the updated release from Red Software).
