New Radeon Drivers Here

Radeon Drivers

The first impressions don't seem good. Maybe I will stick with the current drivers. I only have one DX8 app and it plays fine on the Geforce 2 GTS with 6.31 drivers so I can always use that.

Tried the new drivers..
It didn't seem to help on Rune...
Still lots of jagies..
Of course it may be that I'm running at 4x 1280 x 1024 @80hz
maybe I should get a GeForce2 ultra 64 DDR
(currently using the Radeon 32 DDR - TBird 800 with 512 Meg Ram)
is anyone here using the Radeon 32 SDR?

I read at rageunderground that those drivers were not supposed to be released. They are beta divers that a tester decided to post a user name and password for. They have since been pulled. ATI will be releasing a better set.

i use the 3063 drivers and find them to be the best so far.......radeon 32 ddr but from the posts ive read radeon works and looks smooooother in p-3 systems vs amd. i run a 550- 512k 128 ram 440bx2v mobo{intel}

i suppose oldfart is on the money cuz after the driver update to this version UT in d3d chockes to single digit fps at complex scenes on my 'puta 😱

Looking for some help with my Radeon 32 DDR.

Anyone else have problems in UT and Swat 3 Elite Edition. I get corrupted squares at 800x600 and a corrupted line at 1024x768 32bit. Any advice?

Got the 3056 drivers, win98, Tbird 850, 256M Ram.

TIA

Some more info here. Those 7041 or whatever drivers are "Lightspeed" drivers. He is one of those guys that does driver combining, tweaking, etc and packages them as his own. I remember there were guys who did that with Voodoo 3 drivers. These are not even BETA ATI drivers. Be careful. I think I'll wait for something that actually comes from ATI.
