Squirrel cage? lol, I've not yet read AT or other reviews of the 200 series cards, it doesn't sound good! 
Though I do recall that a higher ceiling of 90C was chosen (think it was a recent AMD card, can't recall properly now) & that the Silicon is fine at those temps.
