New puter has issues powering on...

I have an Athlon 1.4, 250W PS, 2 CDROMS, 2HD's and when I go to turn on my computer it will turn on for like 2 seconds and then shut off. I have to recycle the power supply to get it to go again. Any ideas on what it is?

it is VERY likely that your power supply is not powerful enough. Is it AMD approved for that processor? I have heard that you need a minimum of 300W to run your processor adequately......

Yeah I think that's the problem....and by the smell of things I think the PS is dead. Whoops I think a 350 Enermax will do the trick...
