I hope your dog won't have any hip problems in the future.

I believe that is what the OFA at the end of the name means. That their hips have been examined and certified as not dysplastic.

Also it looks to me as if puppy #2 is skittish and may have temperment issues. Notice how it is the only one frightened and trying to run away.

I read once that behavior of that type by a puppy around strangers is actually a sign of intelligence. Shows that the dog is cautious in an unusual situation which takes some consideration on its part.

I picked my German Shepherd from a litter when he was about 6 weeks old and he was like that. He held back while his brothers and sisters just came running up to us. He turned out to be a great dog, very smart and very loyal and protective.

As for picking names, I like Max. My dog's name was Axel.

I suppose I'll throw the one negative in this post :)

If you have or plan to have kids that play outside where the dogs are, be prepared to clean up dog crap everytime your kids come back inside. Off the Carpet and all the shoes. Oh your wife is gonna' love ya' :)............. Stanley Steamer Carpet Cleaner!

Before anyone goes off on me............ I love dogs and have had a German Shepard and a Pit Bull in the past and loved them both. I'm just one with experience is all ;)

I feel for you already.

Mmmmmmm, Nothin' like the smell of Dogsh** on the carpet in the morning! Mixed with the aroma of Coffee? YUMMY!

I love those ears of his.

I'm the type of person who would suggest wierd names but it would have great meanings behind them so I'll pass on that.

Mortimer. You will name him Mortimer and he will be happy. He will live many, many doggie years b/c Mortimer is a good, strong, doggie name.
