I sent in Logisys Pitbull 500W for RMA yesterday and they said I would be getting the 500MSBL500W MSBL. Well I checked it out on newegg and discovered it isnt see through and it provides +12V@17A which is the same as the pitbull. So I called up and got convinced them to send me a PS500CLAPS500CLA
Was this a wise decision? its +12v@25A. I dont know much about power supplies but I coulda swore the higher the A the better. So I think I got a much stronger supply that looks pretty sweet.

More amps are better, generally. But more importantly, a better quality PSU manufacturer with less amps is better than a shoddy manufacturer with more amps.

With the psu, the reputation is better than the 12v rail rating IMO.

Stick with brands such as Antec, OCZ, Enermax, Forton, Sparkle etc...

It was a mistake I made months ago, was just trying ot get a good upgrade from my RMA. Cant be that bad, Hell Im using a Raidmax 420W with +12v/12a. And the newegg reviews are pretty solid.
