New PSU to power my rig

I am looking to buy a new power supply. I want to get a second 4870 to run crossfire. The question is what do I need to power my current rig. My current power supply is a thermaltake 600w model# w0121ru.

* Q9550@2.83ghz(plan to overclock to 3.6)
* Asus P5Q Pro motherboard
* 2 hitachi deskstar 500gb
* Asus Xonar Dx 7.1 Soundcard
* ATI 4870 512mb (soon to be crossfire)

I don't think your current PSU is up to that task at all. No more than 29A on the 12V rail (probably less) it is more like a 450W PSU than a 600W PSU.

For HD4870 crossfire and a decent OC I would go for a quality 750W minimum and probably aim for an 800W+ if I could afford it.
