New PSU, now no post

Everything went so smoothly...

SYstem was working flawlessly before new PSU.

Took out old, put in new, put everything back together, system powers up, but nothing happens.

I get no video signal and hdd led stays solid. I feel like I'm forgetting something, but it all seems to be there.

I have a new Abit I-P35E with a Pentium 2160 and an older 7600GT. All of the PSU plugs are in on the motherboard (24 pin, 8 pin, 4 pin molex to PCIE), fans spin up fine on everything.

I've reseated the video card and checked the plugs into the back of the monitor too. I can't tell if I'm booting up or not.

What happened?

I really have no idea what it could be. Just check to see that all of your cables are hooked up correctly...

Well, I'm starting to think motherboard...

I had an old 6600 video card around and stuck it in to replace the 7600, same result. Will these machines work with an old PCI video card in place?

OK...pretty sure the PSU is not playing nice with my mobo...posts on ABIT forum and Motherboard forum here indicate this new damn PSU causes this problem. Apparently, some PSUs (Such as the Corsair 520/620 and Antec Neoh won't allow the system to boot up. Hopefully it didn't slay my components along the way.
