Specs in Sig, no changes, I just Had the 700ocz die,, and def not going to try it again,

Looking at the 520HX, will get a 8800gtx eventually(just one) so i was wondering if That will be future proof enough, i might end up getting whatever comes after the 8800, Sooooo Yea,..

either that or a 620HX for further future proofing. PC&C's Silencer 750 is even better but of course need to consider the cost though.
 
I'm fine with my 520 HX. I actually bought it more for its reputation as an extremely quiet psu vs its competition. As long as you don't go for dual gpu then you'd be ok with a quad core and 8800gtx or even a 2nd gen dx10 card. If you want to keep the psu for an indefinite future, say 5+ years and several major upgrades, then you might want to spring for the 620 hx just to be on the safe side.

I'm not as concerned with the price as long as it's under 200, "and that you guys all agree that it's future proof."

I'm not out of warrenty for OCZ but, i didn't like the thing's build quality from the start, felt kinda rough,, and the fact it blew up, pisses me off since this was a big investment, "i've stuck with 50 bux psus in the past much longer on the same system. I'm returning it for a refund. "lot of yelling"

I have the Antec Trupower3 550Watt with 3 18A 12Volt rails and it works like a charm, so that 650 one looks real nice.
