It's being calibrated right now, but 2.35:1 looks awesome on it. It's very bright even in a lit room.

I've been trying to convince my wife to let me get a projector, however everyone we've looked at in action she finds something wrong with, and she doesn't like to watch tv in the dark(regularly). I think I'm going to hold out and see what the reviews are for the 92" Mitsu that'll be coming out this summer.

But that right there, that is awesome

We decided on a 3kW bulb since the room is not terribly bright but we wanted some flexibility, and to be honest I can't remember at the moment how much the bulb cost, I'll look it up for you though

It's right next to an A/C vent specifically for the projector as well as the massive and very loud fan that it has inside. I have to say I'm a little displeased with how loud it is, though I'm sure the rest of the sound system being installed will solve that.

There is a place 30 minutes from me that has one of these on display. Guess I'll go check it out, but yea..25k is a bit on pricey side for me lol. I was thinking maybe 7k or so might not be so bad. Still..be worth a look into.

Not doing it myself. Just highly involved in the install.

We are considering building a box around it and the A/C vent to pipe the cold air specifically through.
