Doesn't appear to be open source? And this gives me pause, from their "About Us" page: "Our investors include the Washington Post Company."

Looks like a cash in on the new anti-privacy epidemic. Chromium based, and somewhat locked down. They don't allow addons, and the proxy service they offer for searches gives dubious benefit when compared to DuckDuckGo or Startpage.

Aside from not liking Chromium much, *not having source code is a no-go for a privacy oriented browser. I'd rather roll my own privacy setup with Firefox, addons, and DuckDuckGo.

Wanted to post a correction to what I said. I don't know if they've since added it since I read the FAQ, or I overlooked it, but they are planning on releasing the code. They say they're getting it organized for official release, but if you contact them, they'll get the code to you.

Still not a fan of Chromium, but at least they'll have code that can be reviewed.

True enough. I trust devs like VLC and Mozilla, but these guys are still new. Someone could compile their own version if they got the sources.

The anti fingerprinting feature interests me. There really should be some addon in FF which can allow users to hack their 'fingerprint' by manually changing the font details or some other piece of info or to set as IOS.

okay jokes apart, i still think using one of the firefoxes(like i use palemoon) with noscript and ghostery will work for everyone. Just keep them updated.
