Hey guys,
I priced out this system, hopefully I'll put it together sometime in early August. I'll be using it for gaming mostly, maybe some photoshop/video encoding. I'd get a better gfx card, but I'm trying to keep the price tag down. Will the 128-bit gfx card be a problem? Another thing I wasn't sure about was the RAM. Do I need 2 GB? The price doesn't seem to bad after the rebate. I would play games like WoW, HL2, DoD:Source, and BF2. Let me know what you think...

Hard drives? Optical? Operating system? Case?

Otherwise, looks like a GREAT build... you've done your homework.

Can i ask why you chose that memory? I have been trying to decide on DDR2 800 and wanted to get some more ideas.

I chose that memory because it got the best review in CPU magazine. 4.5 out of 5 I think, or 4 out of 5. I heard there are problems with OCZ RAM or something too.

Actually, I'm trying to stop playing so many games, so I'm not gonna get the 7600, which means the new build is even cheaper! Also, I'm gonna get an ASRock board which is also slightly cheaper, along with some crappy RAM :p
