I'm in California, and I want to get one of these....but I've heard that the CA warehouses don't give out cb0's.

Anyone out there who lives in CA and got a cb0?

Got my CPU's from the Dallas warehouse in under 48 hours. Both are have absolutely identical codes (great for my SMP plans...), and are week-20 cb0's.

As you can infer from another thread *cough* http://forums.anandtech.com/messageview.cfm?catid=40&threadid=194247 *cough* I didn't use the pointclick deal. However, I still think I got a good deal; for $217, it can only be a better deal!

RE: McGlen Micro - I personally know their director of customer service. I'm not about to try to use my friendship to extort favors for myself, much less Anandtech guys I barely know, but he assures me that the days of bad service are over (their bad reputation on places like resellerratings was why he was hired).

Anyone here from Wisconsin that has ordered one of these P3 700's from Onvia? Just wondering which warehouse it came from and if you got a cB0 stepping processor.

Thanks.

Onvia is still with Pointclick. It's usually there in the mornings but is gone usually by late morning to afternoon. I think it is some type of daily limit thing that onvia has with pointclick.

Try again early tomorrow morning.

Just as a follow-up to my own post, I just called Onvia and they said that my processor will likely ship from the Carol Stream, IL warehouse. Anyone get one from this warehouse that was non-cB0?

Thanks.

Anybody tried this CPU with the MSI slocket adapter here yet? Is it work with the SHOPSS system with the AOpen AX6BC EZ Motherboard?
Running same speed as compatible with the CPU as SLOT 1 PIII 700?

Hi, Update:

My 1st order shipped from Onvia's warehouse @:
1050 South State College
Fullerton, Ca. 92831

Prod Code: BX80526F 700256ESL3T3
MM # 825823
FPO Batch # 7009A260
Version #A03499-002
Philippines
4/01/2000

Well, After e-mailing customer service, I hooked up w/ a very cooperative Rep, who gave me the choice of full refund OR an exchange from whatever warehouse I picked. So I went for the PA warehouse, since so many got cBO's from there..

Thanks again to Perry Texan and to all who posted the warehouse info.

btw, My pep66 and Abit Slotket came today. A nice B_day surprise...

Thanks for the deal MoneyMINTR! I just ordered one and it looks like it went through. I wasn't able to use the pointclick because onvia doesn't show up on their site. I wish I had used for my Mobshop purchases as I would have saved another $25.00 bucks on stuff I would bought anyway.

I'll let you all know if I get an oc'able cb0.

I just got this email from PointClick after I inquired about a purchase I made and did not recieve any points.

What a bunch of crap! I followed the Onvia.com link from there site.

Hi,
We wanted to inform you that Onvia is a reimbursable site. We have just
been informed that Oniva.com comes on the network at 6am (MST). Onvia is
only on the PointClick network for a limited time each day and hope that you
can still make your purchases.

Enjoy!

Sincerely,
PointClick Customer Support
