Definitely not going to be anything like the original...if they try to...it will fail miserably...but I think Adrien Brody is a fantastic actor...so I'm hoping the best for this.
 
They already know they can't bet the original... that's why they're not trying to make a remake, they're reimagining the series, just like the new Batman movies.

I'm curious to see if they can pull it off. From what I've seen so far, it doesn't look bad!
 
I like Adrien Brody, but Splice is the Summer film from him I will be seeing, not Predators.

I have high hopes since it's the guy (Vincenzo Natali) that did Cube and Cypher plus he's doing Neuromancer. Now that he has a bit of a budget and a decent to very good cast (I love Sarah Polley), I have my fingers crossed.

Danny Glover isn't in great shape either but his Predator movie was good.

Predators is going to
1) be awesome
2) suck

I don't see any middle ground here. I read the plot though.
It sounds like AvP but it's HvP. Human versus Predator. The basic premise is that humans are taken from Earth and put on a planet that acts as a game reserve for the Predator species.

As for the Splice fan. It's based on genetic engineering. Having read some things about it, it sounds like it is going to be crap unless you leave your brain at the door. Take something rational (genetic engineering) then take the premise to grossly irrational heights.
