New power supply won't connect into motherboard...

Did I make a big mistake in buying this supply? Is there any kind of convertor or anything I can buy?

I thought ATX was just a standard and I wouldn't have any problems.. 🙁

You're correct ATX is supposed to be a 'standard

Give us the powersupply manufacturor\model #

and your motherboards manufacturor\model #

What is the actual model number on the psu you recieved? It may be a better psu than you paid for, in which case I'd grab an adapter and keep it. Most new psu's are going to 24pin anyway so if it's actually a better model that you thought you may have gotten a great deal. If it's not a better model then contact them and make them replace it.
