Beethoven's 9th symphony ?
Mozart's "Kleine nachtmusik" ?
Mozart's "Magic flute" ?
Strauss' "Blue Danube" ?
Schubert's "Trout" ?

Sorry for not getting to you guys sooner: BUT the answer is:
Wait until the end of the day... if no one gets it by then.
I need to clarify a few issues about the questions:
First, for a single record to be a million seller, it must be a single recording of a single piece. In other words, one cannot just say, over a million copies of Beethoven's Fifth Symphony has been sold, because they are many, many recordings of that piece. I am specifically asking for one recording of one piece that was the first to sell a million.... Hint.... look here:

Tchaikovsky's 1st Concerto is Correct... by half.
Now who made the recording?
On the previously mentioned web page, you'll find a list of the pianists... look for the one who won the First International Tchaikovsky Competition.

And the Answer is....
Van Cliburn's Recording of Tchaikovsky's First Piano Concerto was the first million-selling classical record... I pass the baton to whomever asks the next question.
