wow, not bad, i went to the dealer last weekend, my 98 boxster with 13k miles on it, the trade in value was like 20 grand.. they told me after 9/11, value of boxster gone down a lot... I like the rear better in the new one..
 
yeah, it's not even worth trading in.. i rather sell it myself and get the new one.. those bastards...


btw i'm looking for new insurance company in NYC, currently using progressive, any body have recommendation ? I need full coverage...

I'd say they're yanking your chain, just like any other dealership. Here's one on Ebay with 35K miles that's already up to $30 Grand with 4 days left...Private Seller

I like the evolution of the design a lot. Not sure about that spoiler though. I wish Porsche weren't moving away from the traditional fender line and towards the "slantnose" fenders, but that's just me. Personally, I'd love to get a late 1980's 3.3 litre 911 Turbo. Last generation before they started to get the suspension sorted out, so it was still tricky to drive. Knew a guy who had one, he said that when it hit the turbo in 1st that the front end lifted enough to make steering basically impossible. The Boxster's a great car, but if I get another mid-engined Porsche, I'm going to hold out for a 916. 🙂

That is a much nicer looking car imho than the current boxster...

also thought all high end stuff went down in value after 9-11..esp in regards to cars, not just high end/sports cars but all trade in values went down as well as dealerships offering insentives to buy new such as 0apr for 60 months???

then again the dealers do everything they can to screw you over on a trade or a buy...
 
A thread about a car as beautiful as this should never be allowed to drop this far... Shame on you all.... 🙂
