This is a great unit! I got mine installed for 330 tuesday before everyone started to see it online for much cheaper 😱. But am very pleased with everything about the unit. Was surprised that it even plays my data cds that have a few mp3s on it. The data files are completely skipped over and only the mp3s are seen. Only thing to gripe about is that it doesn't support mp3pro.
 
on a side note,

has anybody in here been able to install a cd/mp3 player while keeping the factory cd head unit or cassette head unit?

i have a 99 accord DX model with a cassette head unit.... i want to buy this mp3 player but don't know how to work out the details on installing it with the factory head unit already in place....
IT IS A MUST that i keep the cassette player.
 
digme, im not too familiar with the interior of an Accord but if you do have a cavity where you can install a stereo, you can buy one of those installation kits that are custom to your car.
 
zoiks, i do have a cavity, but more likely, i will have to mount the player on some part of the dashboard or even maybe in the glove compartment. The other thing is, i was wondering how i would connect the wiring for both the cassette player and the mp3/cd player(both indash).... i mean, would i just hard wire them together?
 
Man, why couldn't this have been up last Monday when bought a new Pioneer CD player after my $hit got stolen? Oh well... I'll just be content with my new DEH-P6400 that I bought for $279.99.
 
hate to break it to you but...

i come from an educated standpoint (i work for Pioneer)

this guy is loosing money on everyone he sells, so i would amagine that this is a pricing error or a scam

BUT if you wanna chance it, you WILL be getting a great deal if it goes through!

i dont know how they are getting them for under for this price, or how they are gonna make a profit, My price on the all pioneer product is 20% under dealer cost and he is approaching my price

I have a portable Phillips MP3/CD Player and it won't allow me to fast forward thru MP3s. Does this Pioneer have the same problem?
 
I just received my unit from etronics and installed it. Wow, I'm totally amazed at what this thing does for $260 delivered. I like the dolphin screensaver, too. =)

Anyhoo thanks to all that contributed to this deal!

 
I can vouch for that ebay guy.. I ordered a jvc head unit from him sometime last year and got it within a few days.. I got it to replace my pos aiwa that crapped out and its been going ever since.. Its amazing how much feedback that guy racked up... He's a pleasure to deal with.
