Iv'e been waiting for this to come out. And its a bargain too compared to the other ones out there. Sure you could take an Aiwa for less but id take a pioneer anyday.
Im not sure how the vendor is but i ordered it anyway.

SWEEET!!! Finally the head unit I've been trying to wait for.. though I bought a JVC mp3 player earlier for $320 cause' I couldn't wait for Pioneer.. I love the 2-way crossovers.. Anyone want to buy a JVC MP3 head unit?

Mecheater, just to let you know. I called their number and they said that the stereo is in limited quantity since its pretty new and they only have a few.
Seems legit to me so far.
one more thing i forgot to add. The guy said that they were going to increase the price to 269 once they run out. but then he could just be blowing smoke up my a$$.

Why are you guys so quick to get rid of the JVC mp3 player? I haven't heard the new pioneer mp3, but based on other pioneer head units that I've come across, I still think the jVC beats it in terms of sound quality.

This guy is selling them for $249 plus ship. Given his rating of 6607:Q I'd go the extra $11 and feel better about it. JMHO.

I could've used the Premier model though with the Sub output and the 4V instead of 2V.

I was just wondering whats the difference between the output being 2v or 4. I have an external eq along with 2 amps that drive 2 12'' woofers. Would it make any difference in my case?

I have never bought from that store as well. I thought I was happy when I bought mine for $249.99.... I bought it at www.winazon.com. My friend bought there before, and he said they were very good on shipping and never lied about the stock on hand, so I gave them a try. And guess what? My order shipped that same day with a tracking number! The only thing is though, I had to call and ask if they had this model since it wasn't listed in their web site...

zoiks unless you are splitting between many amps I dont think there is any noticeable difference between 2V and 4V.
Ofcourse I only have done this twice now with a complete system upgrade so I'm not a pro

Thanks dorkboy. I think while im at it, ill get the steering remote too. sounds like a cool idea using the stereo without having to take hands off the steering.
