While we're on the topic, how come none of my shortcut keys work in Photoshop CS?

Things like Ctrl + C or V don't work. Just nothing happens. I have to go and use the menus.

Due to the fact that you have a pirated version. It's a anti-piracy measure Adobe took to prevent pirates like you to steal from them :)

that image ready trick works

Kelvrick: you need a better stolen version. or pay for it

i tried pastyeing it into MS photo editror. that worked i saved it as a jpeg and tried to open it from there from CS and that didnt work either

I agree, it's their software, and if they want to put something like this in it, they can. It's up to the consumers to buy it or not. If they suddenly get a bunch of dropped sales due to this reason, they will think twice about doing so in the future.

Our greatest vote: don't buy it. It's the single-most clearest message we can send to them that we don't like what they are doing.

Remember the TaxCut fiasco, and I'd venture to say that MS's activation has prompted more people to switch to Linux, plus I'd be interested to see how Norton's 2004 linup is doing so far with their new activation in place.

Even if we don't buy it, Photoshop is most likely one of, if not the most pirated software on the net. So they still know people use it.

If someone is really that upset about it, there is an "update" that allows PS 8 CS to read the currency. It is in alt.binaries.multimedia.utilities

man this really blows chunks. I was planning on downloading a pirated copy of Photoshop CS. And using it to make counterfeit $20's so I could go and use the fake money to buy me a legit copy

*siiigh*
screw you Adobe!

Yep. It's like $600 and every computer nerd has it, but complains that they can't buy a laptop or afford to cook. :p

Can someone host the "enjoy the censorship" image on the first page that sifl wrote?

The link no longer works and I want to know what it shows.
