I am up for a new phone, it's between the new iphone 4s or the moto razor. i have the 1st moto droid.
They seem to be about the same, beside the iphone 4s is not 4g. doesn't really make a difference.
 
yes i am in 4g zone. I am pretty rough on my phone and was leaning towards the razar but battery life is not that great. never really look at those phones.

If battery life, games, and ease of use/out of the box use are important then iPhone 4.
If durability, customization, LTE, and display size then Razr.

Everyone is all over LTE here, but I personally don't care for it with a 2-4GB cap. I can do anything LTE can on my HSPA connection.

You also didn't check out the Galaxy Nexus. It should be Galaxy Nexus vs iPhone 4s.
 
I posted a thread about a Bionic and GNexus. Based on my experience with the Bionic I would not get a RAZR. I had a lot of antenna issues with the Bionic and the Verizon rep seemed to confirm this.

I've had good experiences with the iPhone 4, and the S should be better. But Verizon's 3G network is slow. I would recommend an iPhone on AT&T's network simply because it is a lot faster.

I would consider the Galaxy Nexus if I were you. You should definitely check it out in a store. Galaxy Nexus has a better screen resolution and swappable battery. Samsung phones also are Class 3 LTE devices so they max out at 100Mbit for download while Class 2 LTE devices max out at 50Mbps (though not like it really matters that much I suppose)
 
Those two O.S are really different.

The Iphone 4s is suited for low tech users that just want a phone without any hassle. Basically just a easy out of the box experience.


For Android there are tons of research you have to do to make your phone worthwhile. I don't know about Motorola's Android handsets but for Samsung and HTC you can root and do tons of modding to enhance the phone itself to your liking.
Android is pretty hard to use if you are a beginner.
