Overall that looks good to me. I only have a few quibbles:

- RAM: It's fine, but more expensive than it needs to be. This Team DDR3 1600 kit saves $10.
- PSU: $90 AR is pretty high for a 550W PSU. You can get an S12II 620W for $65. There's plenty of room to route cables behind the side panel in a P180, and you will need to use most of the connectors anyway.

I'm also looking to buy this computer chair and mouse mat since my desk surface isn't the smoothest.

I definitely believe that a good mouse pad is hugely superior to even the nicest desk surface. The difference between a pad and a rough desk is night and day.

As for a chair, those are super personal, and I would not recommend buying one online unless you've tried out the exact model in a store.

I'm concerned about the .67 tb per platter 20 percent slower performing drives Seagate was mixing in with the same model numbers as the 1 tb per platter that I'm looking to buy. It's called "power of one" (tb per platter) according to the reviews I read. Was considering the WD green but this is a lot of storage for cheaper than anything else I could find.

I'm changing my mind from the VG248QE Asus monitor after seeing them in action and playing with the settings at MicroCenter. I'll suffer and wait for a Display Port 1.2A Adaptive-Sync capable monitor. Maybe pick up a used CRT locally, but I doubt I'll find a good quality one for gaming that's dirt cheap.

The Seagate drive is a 7200RPM, so it's going to be faster than a 5400RPM WD Green in all situations. $100 is a pretty decent price too.
