I haven't follow the new CPU for a while, so I don't really know what exactly the difference between new Pentium line and Core 2 Duo (I personally own one).
It seems both are 64bit, both are dual core. And it seems the only real difference is Pentium does not have hyperthreading and no virtual technology, and probably smaller cache, is that right?
I'm looking for general CPU that's for home usage (for my sister) on the cheap side, yet I don't want it too shabby, and it must be able to run Photoshop student edition.
