hey.. that's actually a good choice for ppl who use external floppies. I think LS-120 drive reads regular floppy (at faster speed?).

Yeah, it's faster than a floppy drive - the specs at Compgeeks are:

Sustained Data Transfer (KB/sec): 313-571/110/55

I'm not sure what the /110/55 is all about (maybe for floppies?), but at the lowest sustained transfer (313KB per second) that would fill a regular 1.44MB floppy in less than 5 seconds.

Depends on your BIOS (check the Startup order and see if LS-120 is listed). I'm not sure about PCMCIA startup options tho...
