Im building a new pc looking for some advice here are the parts im considering.

The reviews seem good on the power supply but personally I wouldn't buy it simply because it looks too bling bling and fake to me.

Not sure on the memory.
 
I love this PSU. It's a trusty 500W PSU from the best brand--Antec. As for memory, I have the OCZ 2gb (2x 1gb) Platinum PC3200 memory. However, I don't know much about memory so I don't know which is better (your pick or mine).

As for the processor and motherboard, this seems to be a gaming machine so DEFINITELY get an AMD processor and an AMD-compatible motherboard. I love the x2 4200+ and the 4400+. They're still within a somewhat reasonable price range (unlike the 4800+) and can be OC'd (with decent cooling--I use the xp-90c and a random 92mm case fan) to 2.64 ghz per core with virtually no risk. The AnandTech review for the dual x16 Asus A8N-32 SLI motherboard also looks great.

Love the graphics card, though if you have the extra cash you may want to spring for the 7800gtx 512mb version.

The 512mb card plus the performance boost from the dual x16 motherboard would give you INSANE power. Of course, this setup is ridiculously expensive...

Just remember... Games will see this as a single 3Ghz P4. Also, it's a hot chip that consumes a lot of power.

So I agree, if you're gaming, or if you pay your own electricity bills, or if you don't plan on using your PC to heat your room, get an AMD.
