I picked up an Acer desktop a few days ago with Vista premium. I have made an image with acronis and did some backups with the Acer E-recovery tools. Only thing I have done to the PC is remove Norton AV.
I am considering putting XP pro on the machine but wanted to be able to keep my license for Vista intact so I can use it later. Is this possible for me to do with the machine or do I just need to call up Acer? Would their disc allow an install of Vista over XP without a format? Just trying to cover my bases ...
I am going to start installing some stuff and see what happens. Maybe Vista will be livable ...
