I dont know what you are planning on doing with this system, but I will assume games...if that is the case there are a few things i would change.

First, DUMP THAT BOARD. SiS chipsets are known to be crap. $90 will get you a Via KT800 based board, $105 will get you a Via KT800pro based board, or $92 for a Chaintech board w/ NForce3 250 chipset. All of those would be much better choices.

Second, consider getting a 3000+ and saving some cash($40)...(you may wanna divert that to a different vid card).

Third, I would go with a less expensive drive. You can get a nice 80GB WD 7200RPM IDE drive w/ 80MB cache for $50 after MIR. Frankly, 36gigs isnt enough for your only system drive. So there you just saved another $70.

Finally, if you wanna play games that video card just won't do. You should look at the Radeon 9600XT. It can be had for about $150 and with the $110 you saved going w/ a different CPU and HD you can afford it.

Fair enough on the 3200+, just tryin to save some cash since i was suggesting some upgrades. Good move on the drive and vid card. But....

DUMP THAT BOARD!!!!! SiS chipsets have a history of sucking. Go with a Via or nForce chipset. Trust me.

Surprisingly, nobody else seems to have mentioned the fact that you listed a SCSI hard drive (not SATA as you said), and you don't have a SCSI controller.

Your HDD is SCSI not SATA if you are wanting SATA 10000 you have to look up the WD Raptors. I agree with the others dump the board. I would suggest the ASUS K8V (K8V SE Deluxe if you want Firewire) it is solid and easy to work with. Also if you are gaming is there any way to squeeze in a 9800pro?
