New PC problem

I just built myself a new PC yesterday and think that I may have a problem. Here are the specs

OCZ 520W Powerstream
Asus A8N-E motherboard (latest BIOS)
Athlon 64 3700+ 1MB cache San Diego
OCZ DUAL CHANNEL OPTIMIZED PLATINUM 2X512MB DDR PC3200 REV.2 CL 2-2-2-5
BFG 6600GT PCI-E

All settings and voltages are on Auto or SPD, RAM timings are at CL 2-2-2-5 1T
When I run memtest, I got 3 errors on test 5 (after about 5 hrs) I switched the DIMMs and tan memtest again, after about 1 hr, I got another error on test 3.

Is my RAM defective ? Are there any settings I should adjust ?

Also, what idle temps should I be getting ? Room temp is at 27 degrees and ASUS probe reports the CPU and MB temps at 39 and 38 degrees respectively. Could this be and issue ? I am using the stock heatsink and fan that came with the procesor.

Thanks for the help and advice.

Hi GMtheBest,

You should be OK with those idle temps.

Tried it with 2T and still got memtest errors. I tested each RAM stick one by one in the same DIMM slot (at SPD and auto settings) and one of them produces an error one in a while. After about 20 memtest passes, their might be 2 to 3 errors. Is this something to be concerned about ? Should I RMA the ram ?
