I regularly post on www.DFI-Street.com (the official DFI support forum) and I will tell you to read read read about that motherboard. The forum administrator (Happy_Games) got his the other day and is having a hard time getting Windows to install properly. Poke your head over there into the AM2 section of the forum to see if he has resolved the problem yet. The motherboard is NOT defective by ANY MEANS. It seems that there is a BIOS setting turned on (or off) where it does not need to be.

BUT

If you don't plan to OC, don't get a DFI... period.

OK, fist of all your links don't work... second of all If you're not ocing, i'd get the 4200+ X2. It's at clubit.com or $185 shipped. Why are you paying the DFI premium I f you're not overclocking? G.skill memory is awesome for overclocking, so if you can find valueram for less then go for it. That's a good price though... fix those links so I can tell which memory it is. As for the video card, are you planning on gaming? If you're only gaming a little and not playing things like farcry, go with the 7300gt. If you want silent with a little more power, gigabyte makes a silent pipe passive 7600gt. If you game a lot, a 7900gt is ideal.
