New PC coming today! Which software ?

Lol bit of an open thread but jsut wondering when everyone gets a new PC which software do they install

I'm going with Vista x64 and Office 2007 but after that I tend to just find loads of freeware stuff which i never use.... quite fancy a clean computer this time..

What do people use for

Internet Security?
Anti Virus?
Compression?
Codec Packs?
Movie Player?


and any other basic apps you can think of...

Vista x64
Symantec Corporate (free from work) but Avira Antiviri on the rest of my machines. Vista built in firewall and Smoothwall box
Latest beta Winrar (if UAC is on, the beta is a must)
ffdshow
WMP11 and VLC

Everest to monitor system temps
Windows Live Photo gallery (it is better than the standard Photo gallery that comes with Vista)
Alcohol 52% (free virtual mount program)
Teamviewer for VNC if you don't want to do RDC
And I use GIMP any other image related work that needs to be done

Windows Firewall, Router.

Anti Virus?
I use BitDefender for antivirus.

Compression?
WinRAR and/or 7-zip

Codec Packs?
Just install VLC/GOM Player and you're set to go. Plays almost anything.

Movie Player?
VLC.

and any other basic apps you can think of...

CD/DVD burning software perhaps. I just purchased Nero, got tired of trying to crack it. It's still too expensive but the overall package is good.

Ashampoo if you are willing to pay, much better than Nero
CdBurner XP is free

Fairuse Wizard for encoding
Clone DVD/ Any DVD for copying removing protection
DVDFab

CD ripping
EAC

Browser
Firefox or Opera

FTP
Filezilla

Music
