Budget (including currency): 5,000
Country: USA
Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: 3ds max, Steam Games
Will this build be good for 3dsmax modeling and rendering, did I choose the parts wisely?
upgrading from a Threadripper 1950x, rtx 2060 and 32 GB of DDR4

Given your budget and use case (rendering) I'd think 48GB or 64GB of RAM might be worth it.

Looks good. I wouldn't spend $199 on Win 11 PRO license. Research *alternative* means of obtaining an OEM key.

I found three resellers on EBAY with +95% ratings who were offering RETAIL BOX (SHRINK_WRAPPED) Windows 11 Pro for under $60 each. I just installed one of those -- no problem. Definitely genuine retail-box, though! What's going on with this? Newegg still wants close to $300 for a retail-box. these come with the license card and USB media.

As for the PSU recommendations -- or rather the Hardware Busters "Best PSU Picks" -- the ASUS models -- certainly the Thor but very likely the STRIX -- are re-badged Seasonic PSUs. I'm a Seasonic bigot; I always buy PSU of Seasonic manufacture when I can.
